**EMEA Regional Director**

**Responsibilities**:

- Externally Facing_
- Develop a professional working knowledge of the horizontal directional drilling construction market in Germany and adjacent EMEA markets.
- Participate in Partner and Customer meetings and events to maintain awareness of the EMEA HDD market.
- Build impactful relationships with industry peers and Dealer Principals who influence DCI sales throughout the EMEA region.
- Manage relationships with strategic manufacturing Partners.
- Become an industry influencer by participating in industry events and in supporting local publications and DCI's social media presence.
- Oversee local office operations and annual budget and compensation cycle(s).
- Oversee the Territory Manager's in building & nurturing Partner & Customer relationships.
- Internal Facing_
- Oversee the EMEA Territory Managers, Operations/Office Manager and Repair Technician; build breadth and depth (strength) in core competencies.
- Prepare and deliver quarterly reporting that reviews operational function(s), budget plan/performance, sales performance, and threats to DCI's core business in EMEA.
- Monitor all levels of performance across the DCI EMEA team and ensure that appropriate training and development are carried out.
- In collaboration with the Culture People Team (CPT), oversee the recruitment, vetting, and training of new staff.
- In conjunction with the HDIO and Leadership Team, develop new business or distribution strategies that allow the EMEA field team to address or adapt to new opportunities, challenges, or gaps in the market.
- Maintain brand image of the organization and be willing to address threats or risks to operational or organizational stability.
- Work closely with Corporate based Marketing to build and implement effective in-country promotions and brand building that are EMEA business culture appropriate.
- In conjunction with DCI EMEA team members, collect and maintain EMEA market intelligence with analysis, implications and proactive plans to address opportunities.
- Work experience of 7+ years with a European based multi-national corporation who specializes in the HDD (trenchless technology) segment or related, construction industry segments.
- Includes 3+ years of field experience in supporting, training or selling directly to customers.
- Experience with Channel and Partner Management in a similar or related industry
- Proven success in field team performance management and revenue growth management.

**Education**
- Bachelor's Degree, Bachelor of Science preferred.
- Bilingual: English & German language communication fluency **required.**

**Industry Knowledge**
- Knowledge of EU based construction equipment industry is preferred.
- Knowledge of Business-to-Business Sales processes and related challenges.
- Familiarity with capital equipment sales cycle preferred.
