Tasks
- Work with an experienced team of Health actuaries to develop and implement innovative product and pricing solutions for Health insurance products across diverse global markets.
- With a strong problem solving and analytical acumen, understand the existing business challenges and develop data driven solutions that may go beyond the existing practices in a highly dynamic and fast paced environment.
- You bring your knowledge to bear to analyse and model data, calculate cost trends and identify risk factors.
- You support Allianz units worldwide in pricing of Health coverages and rolling out our pricing solutions.
- Effectively communicate with various internal and external stakeholders to convey complex actuarial concepts and analysis into understandable insights.
- Stay abreast of the of the market dynamics and regulatory changes across various countries to adjust the pricing strategies accordingly.
- Ultimately, you have an impact on how Allianz is positioned in Health globally.

**Requirements**:

- Educational Background: Master degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Actuarial Science, Economics, Data Science, or a closely related quantitative field.
- Professional Experience: Proven experience as a pricing actuary in Health or Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance, with a focus on data-driven pricing strategies.
- Technical Expertise: Advanced proficiency in statistical modeling techniques, including Generalized Linear Models (GLMs), Generalized Additive Models (GAMs), and related methodologies. Familiarity with modern machine learning approaches such as Gradient Boosting Machines (GBMs), Random Forests, or comparable algorithms is a valuable plus.
- Programming Skills: Hands-on experience with data analysis and modeling using R (preferred) or Python.
- Analytical Thinking: Strong problem-solving capabilities to address complex issues related to product development and pricing.
- Adaptability: Comfortable working in a dynamic environment with evolving business needs and market trends.
- Ownership & Initiative: Highly self-organized with a proactive approach to managing tasks and delivering results independently.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
