The Faculty of Business, Eco-nomics and Social Sciences is looking for a **LECTURER in the field of "QUANTITATIVE METHODS"** Your tasks include: - Conception, teaching and evaluation of mathematics, statistics and data science courses. - Contributing to the continuous development of our curriculum and teaching approaches. - Supervising and coaching students. Qualifications: - Completed university degree in mathematics, physics, computer science, engineering or a related field with a strong mathematical background - Teaching experience, demonstrated through a university-level teaching assignment, course evaluations or similar - Fluent in English (knowledge of German is a plus) - Good programming skills in R or Python The employment is limited until 31 August 2026 and is carried out with 50% of the regular teaching obligation according to the Lower Saxony Teaching Obligation Ordinance (currently 10 LVS). Payment is according to German payment scale 13 TV-L. Osnabrück University of Applied Sciences reserves the right to conduct the selection interviews in person or online.
