The Integrated Analytics team is part of the Munich Re Life & Health department based in Munich, serving as a regional analytics center (RAC) for Europe and Latin Americas. The team is responsible for data and analytics strategy and systems’ development, biometrics, data and knowledge modelling, and advanced actuarial analytics topics for more than 50 markets, for 500+ cedents, and 1,500+ active reinsurance contracts. We strategically invest in scalable, easy-to-use data and knowledge technologies to create and operationalize high quality products and services using structured and unstructured data, serving both internal and external clients. Your data analytics expertise will be instrumental in assisting our clients in the life and health (re)insurance industry to make data-driven decisions, enhance risk management practices, and improve overall operational efficiency.

**YOUR JOB**
- Create and maintain predictive models and data-driven solutions for both internal and external stakeholders, enhancing the entire (re)insurance value chain.
- Work on data-based products and services, utilizing advanced analytics, natural language processing, knowledge graphs, and statistical methods.
- Conduct analyses related to disability, mortality, and other lines of business to identify trends, patterns, and emerging risks to support pricing, reserving, and underwriting decisions.
- Visualize and present derived results to internal and external stakeholders
- Collaborate with cross-functional and cross-regional teams to promote a data-driven decision-making culture.
- Contribute to projects that extend systems and tools, fostering innovation within the industry.
- Support the establishment and maintenance of data and analysis governance frameworks, policies, and procedures to ensure data accuracy and compliance.

**YOUR PROFILE**
- Master's degree or Ph.D. in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Statistics, Economics or Applied Mathematics.
- Proficiency in coding, particularly in Python (and R) using source control (git)
- Minimum of 2 years of practical experience in statistical modelling, machine learning, text mining and data visualization tools
- Experience with the following is a plus: Azure components, Databricks, graph analytics & OWL-based ontology modelling
- Previous experience in life or health insurance, direct and/or reinsurance is a plus
- Ability to work on various projects at one time in a structured and independent way
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with clients and team members.
- Highly motivated, proactive and innovative mindset, with a passion for leveraging data and analytics to drive business value.
- Very good written and spoken German and English
