Tasks

Creative currently
seeks to hire a Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) Officer for its Berlin
office to provide support to the monitoring and evaluation of an International Development project in the Middle East context. Under the M&E Manager, the M&E
The officer is responsible for assisting the implementation of the program’s
M&E plan, overseeing M&E activities inside the Middle East, and
drafting reports on program outcomes. The M&E Officer is expected to work
40 hr/week. This position is contingent on donor funding. The M&E officer reports to
the MER Manager and is responsible for assisting in the work as tasked by the
M&E Manager.
- Organize data for the indicators on the outcomes of activities and performance

against the Results Monitoring Plan (RMP);
- Contribute to and finalize weekly and quarterly reports on an ad hoc basis for the

MER Manager to review;
- Assist in drafting data collection tools such as survey, focus group discussion, and

key informant interview guides for approval from MER Manager;
- Assist in M&E data collection in the field, with oversight from the M&R Manager and

support from the M&E Coordinator;
- Assist in analyzing quantitative and qualitative data as well as reporting against

program indicator performance for quarterly and ad hoc evaluation reports;
- Update and manage project repository for M&E data; and
- Assist n all tasks requested by the M&E Manager.

**Requirements**:

- University degree in social sciences, management or related

technical field, or equivalent experience required;
- Must have 2 years of general work experience, and 1+ year of

specific experience in monitoring and evaluating programs in
transitional environment;
- Fluent written and spoken Arabic as well as advanced written and

spoken proficiency in English required;
- Knowledge of M&E systems and processes, including, but not

limited to, Theory of Change, Logframes, the Results Monitoring
Plan, and qualitative and quantitative data collection tools.;
- Demonstrated experience supervising data collection;
- Experience designing remote data collection plans and tools in

transitional environments;
- Previous experience in evaluating and reporting on program

results;
- Knowledge of data analysis, management and work stream

management software is a plus;
- Knowledge of computer systems, internet navigation and various
