As a market leader in the construction of paper machines, the conservation of resources and the efficiency of our products and technologies are drivers for new developments. **Your tasks** - Get involved with the topic of "sustainability in the paper industry" - one of the most important future topics of Voith Paper. - Support the R&D department in researching the effects and opportunities of closed water cycles in the paper mill. - Expand and complete a system simulation model of the water cycle and carry out parameter investigations. - Document and communicate your findings and make recommendations on further investigation and development steps. - Willingness for occasional day trips to colleagues (M/F/d) at our locations in Ravensburg and Munich as well as to customers. **Your profile** - Enrolled student (M/F/d) of an engineering or natural science degree programme, with a focus on hydrochemistry, process engineering, environmental or paper technology and interested in a compulsory internship or writing a thesis. - Very good knowledge of MS Office and interest in modelling and/or programming; initial experience in these areas is a plus. - Good written and spoken German and English skills are a prerequisite. - Ability to analyse, enjoy cross-functional cooperation and communication in teams as well as proactive and conscientious working style. - Passion for sustainability and resource conservation and enjoy developing creative solutions. **You can expect** - Support from your mentor and team to help you get started. - Job counseling and regular feedback for your professional and personal development. - Exciting work opportunities and individual projects that provide you with insights into the operation of an international company. - Flexible working hours and attractive compensation. - Being part of our trainee network and staying in contact with other trainees through regular meetings.
