Mid-level Product Designer

We build products, ventures and engage in partnerships with both well-known enterprises and investors. We're a small team based in Berlin, with a shared passion for venture-driven products. We work out of a sunny converted loft in Berlin, Kreuzberg.
The types of projects we engage in range from launching new ideas and supporting in getting first traction, to scaling products to increase user base to several thousand more.
Tasks
What will keep you challenged
- Work alongside with multiple stakeholders and co-founders
- Develop design concepts and prototypes
- Create and test user flows, wireframes, and interactive prototypes
- Build component libraries, style guides, visual assets, and work with design systems
- Level designs up to appealing polished high-fidelity for dev handoff
**Requirements**:
What we are looking for
- 3+ years of Product Design (UX/UI) experience in a user-centric and business-driven environment
- You are used to collaborating cross-functionally with design, research, engineering, product management, and company leaders to take products from concept to launch in agile setups
- You build delightful experiences, craft component libraries, work with design systems, and create high-fidelity, polished user interfaces based on carefully validated assumptions, observations, and usage patterns
- You are especially passionate about UI Design and up-to-date with the latest trends in visual design, with a proven clean visual design sense and strong skills in typography, colour palettes, accessibility, layout, spacing, grids, and responsive design
- You are proficient in high-fidelity design and prototyping tools (Figma is a must; Sketch etc. are a plus)
- You regularly collaborate with developers for feasibility and handoff
- You are experienced in native app design for iOS and Android as well as web design
- You understand customers by leveraging qualitative and quantitative data to ideate and create user-centric experiences
- You plan and conduct design research and testing to advocate for the customer to balance with business needs when making design decisions
- You have strong problem-solving skills but also a desire to discover what the real problem is first
- You have good understanding of Agile methodologies
- You have strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal. English language proficiency is a must; German a plus
- Proficiency in illustration, 3D, animation, or motion design would be an extra bonus → A strong portfolio featuring examples of product design work is a must
