**THE POSITION**:
Would you like to join a pharmaceutical company, where your skills, competencies and creativity can open doors for your development and professional growth?

We are looking for a student who will support our Boehringer Ingelheim Venture Fund (BIVF). The BIVF was formed in March 2010 to invest in biotechnology and start-up companies to help drive innovation in medical science.

If this sparks your interest, we can offer you a unique experience to do your internship in Ingelheim in one of the pharmaceutical industry's top 20 companies.

The start date is flexible and the duration is up to 6 months. We ask you to indicate your desired period when applying.

**Tasks & Responsibilities**:

- Depending on the period of the internship, you will contribute to the following topics:

- You will monitor and control the financials of the BIVF's participations.
- Maintain reports of the BIVF holding companies and prepare reports for the Management of the BIVF will fall into your responsibility.
- In addition, you will set-up and maintain capitalization tables of the BIVF's participations as an instrument of investment and asset management processes.
- Together with us, you will take part in special projects of the BIVF.
- In cooperation with your colleagues, you will support BIVF’s planning and reporting processes.
- Furthermore, you will support financial due diligence in the acquisition and divestiture processes and prepare related evaluation reports.

**Requirements**:

- Student in at least the 4th semester of an economic course of studies with focus on M&A, finance, controlling or accounting
- First professional experience (e. g. commercial training or internships)
- Very good analytical and communicative skills
- Independent and structured working style and interest in project work
- High team spirit
- Proficient use of MS Office
- Fluency in German and English
