This role will focus on supporting the AI team in their tasks within our multiplayer online game, Star Citizen, and our story-driven single player epic Squadron 42. The successful person will be in charge of not only testing the team’s creations in client, but also testing the tools used to create these pieces, as well as providing feedback. As the tester assigned to the team, your work will directly affect the quality of Star Citizen and Squadron 42, in addition to being involved in the design feedback process.

We’re currently developing Star Citizen, a record breaking multiplayer online space sim, and Squadron 42, cinematic single-player adventure set in the same universe. **What does an Embedded AI QA Tester at CIG do?**
- Support the AI team by improving existing testing procedures and identifying requirements.
- Verify game features and systems, and tools daily and create feedback for the team.
- Execute and maintain test cases on assigned projects as well as ad-hoc testing on focused areas.
- Act as a first contact for QA support for features created by the AI team globally.
- Act as liaison for the AI team.
- Compose regular progress updates and reports for leadership.
- Execute and maintain automated tests created by our QA Automation team.

**What do we expect from our Embedded AI QA Tester?**
- Demonstrable game production experience with advanced skills in identifying and isolating issues systemically to help with resolving problems quicker.
- Experience with writing test cases and ownership of feature areas as well as a good knowledge of bug tracking tools such as Jira.
- Ability to stay organized and motivated to meet specific deadlines.
- Ability to effectively manage your time and task prioritization.
- Thrive in a fast-paced, always-changing work environment where adaptability is paramount.
- Knowledge / usage of a game engine to be able to investigate and understand complex engine issues.
- Ability to connect with your cross-disciplined team and other departments through great communication skills.
- Ability to maintain testing documentation.
- Innovative approach to problem solving, with the highest attention to detail
- Passion for video games especially for sim/space games.
