**Duties**:
Incumbent serves with considerable independence as Post's Purchasing Agent and is under the general supervision of the Frankfurt Procurement Unit Supervisor (Position Number L52223). Incumbent is in the Procurement Unit of the General Services Office supporting U.S. Consulate Frankfurt and constituent post in Düsseldorf, as well as associated agencies, AGR, DAO, DEA, DLO, ODC, DOD/MLO, FCS, IRS, JIS, LEGAT, USAREUR, USSS (and other agencies if signed up for ICASS). Functions consist of procuring supplies, equipment, and services on the local economy, through USG agencies (A/LM, RPSO, ELSO), and from GSA or other sources in the United States and Germany.

- Two (2) years of progressively responsible work experience in in procurement, contracting, logistics or business administration required.

- Completion of Secondary School or Local Mandatory Schooling and received high school diploma is required.

- English Level III (Good Working Knowledge) in speaking/reading/writing is required.
- German Level III (Good Working Knowledge) in speaking/reading/writing is required.

This may be tested.

The pay plan is assigned at the time of the conditional offer letter by the HR Office.
