Our team continues to emerge stronger and stronger as we adjust to the new normal—and that's where you come in We are looking for a **Defensive Operations Lead** that will help contribute to TravelPerk's information security and data protection efforts. You will be responsible for a growing team of specialists who will provide technical security expertise across the business to secure our tools, as well as investigate alerts and handle incidents that arise. If you have a strong background in technical aspects of information security, and you're a team player looking to work in a fast-growth and challenging environment, we'd like to meet you. **What you will do**: - Build and manage a small, but growing team of technical security professionals specialising in the security, monitoring and investigation of various SaaS and traditional tools. - Seize the opportunity to grow, shape and lead a really important part of our Security department - Hold day to day operational responsibility for the Defensive Operations team, working closely with the wider Security department - Support the Information Security Officer with strategic planning in the areas of technical security and incident response. - Develop and own TravelPerk's incident response capability. - Ensure our suite of company tools is securely configured and maintained, working closely with the TechOps/IT team. - Lead on the procurement and implementation of new technical security tools as required. - Own existing technical security tools such as our Endpoint Detection & Response (EDR) and SaaS Ops tools. - Play an active role in TravelPerk's training & awareness programme. **What you need**: - A desire to work in a fast paced, challenging (yet rewarding) environment. - 5+ years of relevant technical experience in information security, security operations, investigations and incident management. - Previous management and leadership experience **or** a clear ability to step into this security leadership role. - Experience with establishing and maintaining SIEM/SOAR technologies. - Knowledge and experience with incident response frameworks and methodologies. - Has a "can-do" attitude with a hands-on approach and is a true team player. **Advantageous but not essential**: At TravelPerk we believe that diversity adds incredible value to our teams, our products, and our culture.
