Tasks

**SCOPE OF ROLE**:
The Managing Director (m/w/d) will provide strategic, commercial, operational and technical leadership for the business. This role will drive the achievement of sustainable revenue growth while maintaining profit margins; build a culture of high performance with teams capable of collaborating cross functionally and making decisions together. Will focus on customer obsession, building great teams, diversity, equity and inclusion all while living our Core Values of Trust, Team and Excellence.

The company has locations in both Schweinfurt and in Barcelona with the role requiring strong leadership presence at the primary location in Schweinfurt, Germany.

**ESSENTIAL DUTIES**:

- Lead a team of 40+ employees comprised of Operations, Development & Engineering, Quality, Commercial and Customer Service.
- Grow topline business, improve operational scalability and improve productivity.
- Ensures production and planning processes are aligned to achieve business, safety, quality, productivity, cost, and customer service goals.
- Create and sustain a high-performance culture that works together to make decisions, integrate new ideas and deliver experiences and products that delight our customers.
- Focus on increasing development of new products that further the company’s ability to win and enhance the platform’s ability to respond to customer needs rapidly.
- Effectively manage key operating metrics such as lead time, on-time delivery, cost of poor quality, inventory, employee engagement.
- Meets or exceeds financial, cost and quality initiatives while aligning strategically with organizational strategy and culture.

**Requirements**:
**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Successful track record of General Management and Leadership experience, with specific experience in manufacturing environments and growth markets; rotating equipment manufacturing environment a plus.
- Track record as an agent of change, who has established customer-centric and engineering-minded teams that are leading their customers, and the market, through collaborative partnerships.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to evaluate organizations and work to align it with customer and corporate goals in mind.
- Proven ability to develop and lead “high performing” teams that are focused on execution and meeting the financial, operational & people objectives.
- Strategic thinker able to develop clear strategies and plans then translate them into specific
- tactical actions for the team to execute. Experience in turning market data into strategic growth plans.
- High energy, personal accountability & execution mindset. Able to effectively manage competing priorities and maintain organizational focus on the “critical few.” Able to clearly set objectives and hold team accountable.
- Demonstrates an ability for cross-functional leadership working well and being productive in a matrix organization. Highly effective at influencing a broader team in a constructive manner.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in both English and German with a high level of comfort communicating effectively across internal and external organizations.
