We are looking for an Accounting Principal to support our Accounting team

You will
- Prepare timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, half-year and annual (group) financial statements under HGB, IFRS & US-GAAP
- Take care of the professional and procedural implementation of new accounting topics or standards.
- Be a main contact person for external auditors, tax consultants or other stakeholder
- Develop and implement an accounting-related ICS in Accounting and take care of the Compliance of our Accounting and tax reporting.
- Taking responsibility in internal projects to drive our company and process development.

You are
- Expert in HGB & IFRS, US-GAAP is a plus
- Keen to transfer theoretical knowledge to our accounting needs
- Affine to IT systems and willing to further automize and digitalize processes
- A professional sparring partner for our Head of Accounting as well as for the whole Accounting team

You have
- A degree (Bachelor or Master) with focus on audit, finance or accounting.
- 3+ years experience in an accounting or audit role and a deep experience of monthly, quarterly, half-year and year-end closing procedures
- A self leading-attitude and a forward-looking judgment when it comes to delivering results timely
- Profound analytical skills as well as a solution-oriented mindset
- Ideally first experiences in accounting related projects, e. g. M&A or IT system integration
- Business fluent in German and English (verbally and in writing)
- Experience with ERP software (SAGE X3 or others) and profound MS Excel knowledge
- Providing reasonable, practical and well-informed advice to the teammates
