**The role - your passion**
- ** Define and implement roadsurfer’s insurance strategy**. Take on responsibility to manage our insurance portfolio, covering a fleet of **10,000+ vehicles and 90+ stations** across the globe.
- Plan and **actively manage roadsurfer’s insurance budget**. Create transparency on development of costs via monthly reportings and drive connected revenue streams. Proactively identify and implement potential cost savings by driving projects and managing both internal and external stakeholders.
- Ensure **effective insurance coverage**, identify potential white spots and manage insurance-related risks and opportunities - both internally and for roadsurfer’s customers. Drive data-based decisions on potential adjustment of our insurance portfolio based on commercial and operational impact as well as associated risks.
- Re-evaluate and continuously **optimize the existing insurance set-up**. Ensure **maximum scalability and optimize the customer experience via streamlined processes** in handling insurances related tasks (claims handling, updating policies, adding new fleet or stations to existing policies, annual renewals). For this you work closely with our operational teams that manage roadsurfer’s fleet and stations as well as our insurance and damage management partners. Other key stakeholders are our Finance, Legal, Expansion and Customer Success teams.
- ** Develop our network of insurance partners and lead negotiations**from RfQ-Outreach to final contract.

**What You Need To Surf The Wave With Us**
- ** Bachelor’s degree** in Business Administration, Economics, Risk & Insurance, Finance or related field (master’s degree is a plus)
- ** 3+ years of professional experience**in a fast-paced environment (e.g., consulting, start-up/scale-up), ideally with focus on insurance / risk management (specific experience in international fleet insurance is a plus)
- Strong **project management skills**with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and work under tight deadlines
- Proven **analytical and problem-solving skills** with the ability to assess insurance risks and opportunities
- Excellent **communication and negotiation skills**, with the ability to engage effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders
- Proven experience in **process optimization**
- ** Self-motivated, proactive**, and able to work independently
- Business fluent in **German & English**
