Vp of Production

**We are the Global CleanTech100 company and European market leader in ultracapacitors and graphene-based energy-storage systems.** Skeleton has grown from 4 people to close to 300 and has raised 200 million EUR financing to scale up manufacturing and execute the ambitious technology road map from high energy ultracapacitors to Superbatteries.

Skeleton Technologies is already successfully delivering products to leading customers ranging from Škoda, Danfoss, Medcom, Wrightbus to leading German Automotives and European Space Agency. **The company's current ultracapacitors have the highest power density in the market and the technology is mature evidence by strong customer contracts and IATF 16949 automotive certification.**

But we have achieved only 0.1% of our potential. In order to achieve the 99.9%, we are looking for an experienced** VP of Production **who truly believes that the world needs Special Forces to fight climate change and reduce CO2 emissions. You would be managing all the daily sales and operations related to the manufacturing business. Would be responsible for the whole Skeleton production and its profit and loss.

**What you'll do**:

- Responsible to plan and execute the sales and operations plan, which is aligned with supply chain, production, and logistics.
- Define on top of firm sales orders which products will be produced in the next 18 months based on framework contracts and speculative business.
- Have the sales and operations plan updated and signed off once per month (in case of extreme changes more often) for the next 18 months.
- Ensure to deliver products on time (OTIF higher than 99%).
- Deliver the products within the target costs defined in the business plan.
- Ensure that the sales and operations plan is set against available manufacturing capacities.
- Ensure that plants are using the sales and operations plan as the basis for the manufacturing plan.
- Ensure that materials are in stock to execute the sales and operations plan.
- Lead the new Leipzig supercapacitor plant as a Plant Manager until a plant manager is hired.
- Build up the Leipzig Superfactory team and hire high potentials.

**Requirements**:

- Lean manufacturing - hands-on experience with running and participating in Kaizen / lean, shop floor workshops.
- Experience and knowledge in setting up preventative maintenance schedules.
- Actual production planning experience (incl. pull method).
- Previous experience in the production business.
- Business fluent English skills required, German skills beneficial.
- Data-driven and business-understanding.
- Bachelor/master or comparable to production engineering, business or engineering.
