**We are looking for a Controller based in Düsseldorf.**

As a Controller, you will provide strategic financial insights, support decision-making, and oversee financial planning and analysis activities to drive growth and efficiency. This role requires a highly analytical professional with a strong understanding of financial processes, who can collaborate effectively across departments to achieve business objectives.

**What will you do?**
- Oversee and manage financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
- Develop and maintain financial models and analyze key metrics to support strategic decision-making.
- Partner with business units to track financial results, operational KPIs, and ensure alignment with overall business goals.
- Monitor and report on key financial indicators, assessing risks and opportunities for business expansion.
- Conduct variance analysis, trend identification, and provide actionable insights to improve financial performance.
- Lead the development of analytical tools and dashboards for financial reporting and executive presentations.
- Ensure compliance with local and international financial regulations, standards, and policies.
- Support the preparation of financial statements, audits, and other regulatory reports.
- Identify areas for process improvements and implement automation to enhance the financial planning and reporting process.
- Act as a trusted advisor to senior management, providing financial insights to influence business strategy and decision-making.

**Requirements**:
**What should you have?**
- 5+ years of relevant experience (financial controlling, corporate finance, financial reporting).
- Advanced Excel proficiency level including Automation tools is a must.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in both English and German.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and handle multiple tasks.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Auditing experience is a plus.
- Experience in a multinational corporation.
- Knowledge of German accounting standards (HGB) and US GAAP.
