Sportradar’s Gaming Solutions unit is responsible for developing and providing clients with Virtual Sports products, which offer visualization and betting on simulated sports to drive additional engagement and revenue opportunities for sportsbooks. The team have built and continue to redevelop the products using world-class motion capture technology and the company’s real sports data to produce the most realistic Gaming Solutions in the market. Virtual Sports ensures clients have a 24/7 offering with a betting experience just like real sports, even when real events aren’t on. The Gaming Solutions portfolio includes a range of Virtual Football tournaments, Virtual Basketball, Virtual Horses, Virtual Dogs, Virtual Tennis In-Play, Virtual Baseball In-Play, and Virtual Cricket In-Play.

We are looking for a Product Owner with a foundational knowledge of sports betting products from both an end user and a business perspective. The Product Owner manages projects across development teams and owns the scope of the developed product or feature. They are the bridge between stakeholders inside and outside of the project and the development team. The product owner also leads an agile development team and is responsible for its vision and roadmap. They align the roadmap to the overall business and engineering strategies.

THE CHALLENGE- Working closely with senior management to ensure that the company develops products that fit with its strategic goals.- Collaboratively creating products and projects to ensure the alignment to the company’s roadmap and its related deliverables by the development teams.- Representing Virtual Sports and being an ambassador for the products- Being a never-ending source of ideas to improve products constantly- Translate business requirements into user specifications with sufficient details about the product features that they can be clearly understood by the development teams.- Understand the business value behind feature requests and be able to prioritize them in the development backlog.- Breaking down the specification into epics/features/user stories with the agile development team- Helping to solve product related problems and highlighting risks and opportunities.- Ensuring that projects stay on track to achieve delivery commitments, including problem solving and trade off analysis when necessary.- Working with the development team and monitoring the progress of projects during the development cycle to ensure that they have the correct functionality according to the scope.- Taking part in demonstrations of software releases and collecting feedback on improvements for future development.- Continually researching the market, our competitors, customer usage behavior and technology trends to ensure that we maintain market leading products.

YOUR PROFILE- You should have an understanding of the customer experience of using sports betting products.- Your collaborative attitude with all stakeholders during the visioning and scoping of projects driving your project.- You need to be a creative and strategic thinker with problem solving skills- You pay attention to detail in product design while not losing the overview.- You have got a good understanding of the development process and product development lifecycle and have experience of Agile methodologies.- With your organizational and time management skills and the ability to work across different teams, deliver a common goal.- Minimum viable product definition, product road maps and prioritizing project backlogs do not concern you- You come with good presentation and leadership skills- A Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Business or equivalent is yours- Experience in the sports betting or iGaming business considered as a plus
