**What we’re looking for**:
**About the role**

One of the largest departments in AUTODOC is our logistics department. We have a team spread across 7 warehouses, with more than 2000 employees working across them. AUTODOC are currently looking for an energetic and inspiring Logistics Operations Director to manage this department. Reporting to the VP of Supply Chain, you will be responsible for the cost, quality, performance, efficiency and strategic development of all the logistics activities.

As our new Director of Logistics Operations, you will be responsible for implementing standardized and scaleable processes within the warehousing department. We are looking to innovate our way of working, in order to help bring down our cost-per-item and build self-controlling structures that enable our warehouses to become more effective.

You will inherit a team of 5 direct reports, and interface closely with the Transportation Director, Infrastructure Director, as well as the Directors for Supply Chain Excellence and Supply Chain Quality.

**You will be responsible for**:

- Developing a logistics process strategy (road map and concepts) to ensure efficiency, effectiveness and innovation.
- Simplifying, accelerating and automating the logistics processes to reduce time to fulfill and lower costs.
- Optimizing inventory levels to meet demand without overstocking.
- Overseeing 3rd party logistics.
- Refining, implementing, and measuring selected KPIs to promote the delivery of a best-in-class customer experience.
- Regularly engaging with and report to the VP Supply Chain
- Working closely with senior/executive stakeholders (functional Supply Chain leads, SCM Quality, Transportation Director, Infrastructure Director, Director of SCM Excellence) to ensure a harmonized, sustainable service level and a resilient, continuous flow of goods through the supply chain.
- Ensuring the development and implementation of best practices to comply with local/global regulatory requirements and company/industry quality assurance standards.

**You will have a background consisting of**:

- Proven experience managing large teams in warehouse environments, including senior leadership/executive experience in a complex logistics environment of significant scale and exposure to warehouse automation (experience from diverse organizations, with responsibility for multiple sites is essential)
- Excellent collaboration, communication, and analytical skills, with the ability to make fact-based, data-driven decisions considering multiple (and potentially competing) factors.
- Proven strategic planning, project scoping and leadership skills, with a track record of successfully managing cross-functional teams
- Excellent English skills (Polish, Czech or Russian skills will be an advantage)
- A demonstrated passion for driving tasks forward and taking full ownership of projects.
