VENTURE STARS is a Munich based venture capital firm focused on early-stage investments in innovative, digital B2C and B2B business models. Having started as start-up entrepreneurs ourselves, Venture Stars has a tradition of working very closely with the founders of its portfolio companies.
To strengthen and expand our team, we are looking for a working student on a 16-20h/week basis.
Tasks
- Generation and prioritization of potential investment opportunities
- Initial analysis of companies, markets, and competitive environments.
- Support in all due diligence aspects for new investments.
- Preparation of investment committee decision documents.
- Support in the maintenance and further automation of our tool and tracking landscape.
- Support with controlling and reporting tasks for the management of our portfolio.
- Support with VENTURE STARS portfolio work and organization of events.
- Development and implementation of own ideas to further develop VENTURE STARS.

**Requirements**:

- Advanced studies in business/economics, natural sciences/engineering (Master) with very good results.
- Enthusiasm for the venture capital and start-up world.
- Team player with a high degree of independence, creativity and analytical skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills and very good written and spoken German & English.
- First professional experience in fast-paced environments (Start-ups, VC/PE, IB, consulting)
