An internationally leading technology firm generating billions of dollars in revenue every year. They specialise in Semiconductors, Medical Technology and Consumer markets with over 30,000 employees across the world. They are looking for a Product Security Officer to join their Medical Devices Security Team.
**Responsibilities**:
- The Product Security Officer within Medical Devices is a member of the Medical Device Security Team and reports directly to the Information Security Manager (ISM) Medical Devices.
- As the Product Security Officer of Medical Devices you will manage, consolidate, prioritize and coordinate all information security and data protection matters throughout the entire lifecycle of medical devices. This includes, among other things, the phases from the idea, initial planning, development as well as ongoing development of the medical devices. You will coordinate frequently with the product engineering team to assure that information Security matters are aligned.
- You will also ensures that the products themselves as well as the corresponding engineering, development, and operating processes comply with the state of the art, the company's internal information security requirements and the relevant standards, regulations and laws.
- In addition, you will be responsible for bringing the corresponding products into the scope of the existing ISO 27001 certification, when required.
**Essential skills**:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in information security, IT security or IT, a comparable degree or comparable professional experience in information security; relevant certifications from the security field (e.g. CISM, CDPSE, CISSP or similar).
- Medium-term experience in the area of information security and data protection in a development environment (international orientation is a plus)
- Technical experience in the area of product and/or IT security
- Experience in product development and engineering is a plus
- Strong Communication skills
- ISO 27xxx series, HIPAA and/or GDPR
