**Responsibilities**:

- Conducting audits on machine safety, environmental protection and occupational safety at Freudenberg facilities, with a focus on Germany
- Advising Freudenberg Group companies on machine safety and occupational safety (e.g. implementation of internal Freudenberg standards on new and old machines)
- Occupational safety officer for Freudenberg & Co., temporary assumption of the position of occupational safety specialist Functions in Freudenberg companies
- Development and implementation of network meetings, trainings, and briefings with a focus on machine safety and occupational safety (e.g. Machinery Directive, internal standards on machine safety, risk assessments, safety culture)
- Support and collaboration in the creation of internal standards and practical aids
- Keeping track of changes to German and key international legal requirements in the area of machine safety and occupational safety and deriving corresponding recommendations for action for our customers

**Qualifications**:

- Ideally 3-5 years of professional experience
- Successfully completed technical, electrotechnical or scientific studies with corresponding practical experience (or comparable studies, or technical training with solid practical experience in the aforementioned areas)
- Very good knowledge of the relevant legal requirements and ideally Freudenberg internal requirements for machine safety, plant safety and occupational safety with practical experience in implementation
- Knowledge of operational environmental protection is an advantage
- Certified occupational safety officer
- Education as Internal auditor
- German and English fluently spoken and written, ideally further foreign language skills
- readiness to travel
