Internship: Research and Prototyping Gpu and Networking Technologies for Future Radio Systems

**In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be**:
- Get familiar with GPU-based development workflows and understand the architecture of GPUs
- Understand how to move data in and out of GPUs
- **For this Role, You Will Need**:
- Ongoing academic studies in Computer Science, Information System Technology, Electrical Engineering or comparable field of studies (from 4th semester)
- Courage to independently research a complex topic
- Interest in high performance computing and enthusiasm about the latest technologies
- Interest in programming hardware components such as GPUs
- Familiarity with Linux operating systems
- Basic knowledge in C/C++ and Python
- Good command of spoken and written English and/or German
- Availability for 4 to 6 months starting in **April 2026**:
- This internship must be a **mandatory**part of your studies
**Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart**:
- You have some experience in GPU programming (e.g., with Cuda, Vulkan, GPUDirect...)
- Some background in DSP (e.g., how does an FFT work)You have created or contributed to software projects, ideally with some hardware integration (e.g. GPU, Network card (NIC), Raspberry Pi, Arduino )
