Egetis Therapeutics is an innovative and integrated pharmaceutical company, focusing on projects in late-stage development for commercialization for treatments of serious diseases with significant unmet medical needs in the orphan drug segment. Headquartered in Stockholm, Sweden, Egetis continues to establish its presence in additional countries. The position is fully remote and will require approximately 40% - 80% travel.

As **General Manager, **you are accountable for establishing and maintaining a successful presence of Egetis Therapeutics and its products in Germany (initial key focus), Austria and Switzerland. Specifically, you are accountable for the P&L in addition to ensuring that the right activities are timely executed for short
- and long-term success. This is a unique opportunity for a skilled person with a hands-on/sleeves-up approach to join a small, growing team and establish your own footprint within a business.

You will head up the Germany, Austria and Switzerland Leadership Team and are accountable for leading and taking an active part in the cross-functional efforts to develop and execute best-in-class commercialization plans and brand plans in line with the global strategy. You will not only lead Key Account Managers, but will also take an active part in delivering disease and product related information and having frequent high quality conversations with relevant health care professionals and other key stakeholders to get a deep understanding of needs, issues and opportunities. The role reports to the VP Commercial Operations and you will be a key member of the extended Global Commercial Leadership Team.

**Duties and responsibilities**
- Accountable for establishing and managing a highly respected and successful Egetis Therapeutics’ organization in Germany, Austria and Switzerland
- Attract, develop and retain skilled employees to ensure a high-performing cross-functional team to achieve sales, profitability and additional corporate objectives
- Lead organizational changes, e.g. related to the company’s growth

- Accountable for the Germany, Austria and Switzerland specific P&L
- Create/ensure appropriate systems are in place to support the business, including monitoring performance to established targets and relevant compliance policies to do business in Germany, Austria and Switzerland
- Ensure robust situational assessment and product positioning for commercial success
- In alignment with cross-functional leads and global plans, lead the development and execution of the strategy for all initiatives necessary for the successful launch of Egetis Therapeutics’ products in Germany, Austria and Switzerland
- Develop and maintain excellent relationships with healthcare professionals, KOLs, payers and other stakeholders relevant for Egetis Therapeutics’ products
- Engage in pricing and reimbursement strategy development and execution for Germany, Austria and Switzerland
- Establish appropriate market access routes and approaches across Germany, Austria and Switzerland for all products
- Engage in negotiation planning and execution regarding rebates/commercial contracts
- Patient advocacy group engagement
- Contribute to the execution of a smooth and effective supply chain process supporting the Egetis Therapeutics products in Germany, Austria and Switzerland
- Drive sales and profitability for the business in a transparent and compliant manner
- Accountable for development and execution of best-in-class cross functional tactical plans in alignment with global strategies
- Communicate clear expectations within the organization
- Management, coaching and performance of Key Account Managers in parallel with taking an active part in meeting relevant health care professionals and other key stakeholders to deliver product and disease related information
- Foster an environment of strong collaboration across the local and global organization, balancing the needs of Germany, Austria and Switzerland with those of the broader corporate objectives
- Ensure that the organization is optimally structured and resourced to drive the strategy

What you will bring to the role:
**Education, Experience and Knowledge**
- Bachelor’s degree in business, life sciences, public health, marketing or a related discipline. MBA or other Graduate or higher-level Degree in science, business or a related discipline is a plus.
- At least 15 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry with increasing levels of leadership, and 5 or more years of leading commercial teams
- Experience includes budget responsibility, marketing and sales management with an active part in market access related activities, whereof at least 3 years in rare diseases
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with successful experience of head
