As Chief accountant, the main emphasis is on tax compliance and reporting as well as establishing the reporting workflow at the enterprise. We are looking for highly qualified chief accountants with experience at companies with foreign trade activities and production.

Tasks

**Financial Management**:

- Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
- Manage the financial planning and budgeting process, including the preparation of financial forecasts and reports.
- Monitor and analyze financial data to make strategic financial decisions.

**Financial Reporting**:

- Prepare and present financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Ensure accurate and timely reporting to stakeholders, such as management, board of directors, and government agencies.
- Maintain financial records and ledgers in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) or International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).

**Audit and Compliance**:

- Coordinate and oversee external audits, ensuring all audit requirements are met.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations and prepare tax returns.
- Stay up-to-date with changes in accounting standards and regulations to ensure the company's compliance.

**Financial Analysis**:

- Perform financial analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and risks.
- Provide insights and recommendations based on financial data to support strategic decision-making.
- Assess and manage financial risks, including liquidity and credit risk.

**Cash Management**:

- Manage cash flow to ensure the company's financial stability.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable, including credit control and collections.

**Team Management**:

- Supervise and lead the accounting and finance team.
- Assign responsibilities and ensure the team's performance aligns with the organization's goals.

**Strategic Planning**:

- Participate in long-term strategic planning and help develop financial strategies to support company growth.
- Collaborate with other departments to align financial goals with overall business objectives.

**Financial Software and Technology**:

- Utilize financial software and technology to streamline accounting processes.
- Implement and maintain accounting and financial software systems.

**Risk Management**:

- Identify and mitigate financial risks and uncertainties.
- Develop risk management strategies and policies.

**Stakeholder Communication**:

- Communicate financial information to internal and external stakeholders, including investors, creditors, and regulatory agencies.
- Build and maintain relationships with banks, auditors, and financial institutions.

**Requirements**:
**Qualifications and Requirements**:

- A bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field; a master's degree (MBA or MSc in Finance) may be preferred.
- Professional accounting certification (e.g., CPA, CMA, ACCA) is often required.
- Several years of experience in progressively responsible financial leadership roles.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and tax laws.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
- Proficiency with financial software and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- A high level of integrity and ethical conduct.
- B2 as minimun requirement in german language

Knowledge in tax, accounting management of a legal entity, LLC, general VAT system according to Ukrainian legislation is a must.
