The Chair of Building materials technology at the Faculty of Civil and environmental engineering is looking for a

**research associate (m,f,x), for 4years, 39,83 hours per week, TVL E13**:
Our research and teaching focus on various areas of construction materials with emphasis on concrete and innovative mineral-bonded composites. Open questions in the basic research of cement-bound construction materials as well as practice-oriented questions about the sustainability and durability of concrete are addressed. The predominantly experimental research is carried out in our laboratories as well as in the structural testing laboratory KIBKON of the faculty.

**Your tasks**:

- Scientific work and project management of our subproject within CRC 1683
- Iniatiation and supervision of graduate and undergraduate student projects and theses

**Your profile**:

- Completed university degree in the field of civil engineering or mineralogy
- In-depth knowledge of construction materials science, concrete technology or structural inspection methods
- Enthusiasm for laboratory work, analytical investigations and complex, data-driven evaluations
- Interest in working independently on scientific issues
- Very good spoken and written English skills
- Independent and responsible working discipline
- High level of communication, motivation and teamwork skills

**Additional information**:
If the position is funded by third-party funds the employee has no teaching obligation.
