We’re seeking a future team member for the role of **Vice President, Compliance & Control **to join our **Compliance & Ethics **team. This role is located in **Frankfurt am Main, Germany.**
In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:
- Provide Compliance advise to the business on Compliance matters, including Data Privacy and Financial Crime
- Helps to bring the BNYM legal entities in Germany into compliance with standard regulatory and policy requirements.
- Proactively identifies and advises upon emerging Compliance issues
- Conduct Compliance reviews of business areas
- As directed, analyses existing legislation, regulatory announcements and industry practices in order to ensure the German legal entities are in compliance with current requirements.
- Contributes to the achievement of team objectives. The staff member will not have employees who will report into him/her.
To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:
- Bachelor degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required. Business, Finance or Law degree preferred.
- Proven Financial Services, Audit or Compliance background and/or experience with financial services compliance and/or experience with the assigned products, services or business lines/areas and the pertaining laws, regulations and rules (e.g. KWG, MaRisk, GwG, WpHG, KAGB VerwahrstellenRS) preferred.
- 5-7 years of total work experience preferred.
- Fluency in English is also a pre-requisite both orally and in writing.
