Novaheal is seeking a visionary Interim Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to guide our technological operations and the development of our future tech strategy. As the Interim CTO, you will have the opportunity to shape our technology strategy, align it with our business objectives, and ensure the highest standards of performance, security, and availability across our technology stack. With a focus on both front-end and back-end technologies such as Nest.js, Typescript, Postgres, Docker, Contentful, Redis, G-Cloud, and Heroku, you will guide our team in developing a scalable, secure, and effective tech architecture.

As a start-up, Novaheal is dedicated to the development and deployment of a learning app for nursing education in cooperation with partners like the University Hospital Münster, the Berlin Educational Campus for Health Professions (educational institution of the Charité), the University of Health Bochum, and many other educational institutions.

Tasks
- Develop and implement the technology strategy and vision for the company, ensuring alignment with business goals.
- Oversee the end-to-end development and enhancement of our learning app.
- Ensure the highest standards of performance and security across our tech stack.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive innovative solutions to challenges.
- Oversee the evolution and improvement of technologies and architecture.
- Provide leadership and mentoring for the technical team.
- Identify and manage risks and issues impacting the delivery and quality of technology projects.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and trends in the tech industry.

**Requirements**:

- At least 6+ years of experience in technology leadership roles, preferably as a CTO.
- Comprehensive knowledge of various technologies including front-end, back-end, and database systems.
- Experience with modern development technologies and frameworks.
- Experience with cloud infrastructure management and transitioning to new cloud providers.
- Proficiency in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
