**Duties**: - Analyzes clinical business processes, clinical workflow, clinical design/management and information management needs of the medical organization. - Manages AMEDD information systems (Electronic Health Record) medical/clinical operations, clinical workflow analysis and design. - Conducts medical marketing research and reviews and evaluates effectiveness of performance and quality of results of medical operations of the BPR processes and outcomes. - Coordinates multiple projects associated with health care programs and systems to include information systems. - Knowledge of various areas of health care group practice management and clinical practice workflow re-engineering. - Knowledge of clinical operations/management. - Provides clinical professional expertise and organizational skills necessary for overseeing the quality of clinical BPR development and evaluation. **Requirements**: **Conditions of Employment**: - You will be required to provide proof of U.S. Citizenship. - Male applicants born after December 31, 1959, must complete a Pre-Employment Certification Statement for Selective Service Registration. - One year trial/probationary period may be required. - Applicants must comply with the Exceptional Family Member Program requirements as outlined in the DoD Instruction 1315.19. - Immunization screening is required. Hepatitis B immunization is required for all positions with direct patient contact. Applicants may be required to show proof of other immunizations depending on the type of position. - This position requires you to be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance of access for the duration of employment which includes a background investigation and credit check. - This position is identified as Mission Essential which may require you to work or remain at work during an emergency situation or when inclement weather has curtailed operations (e.g., threat to the facility, natural disaster, delayed reporting). - This position requires Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel approximately 35% of the time away from your permanent duty station. **Qualifications**: **Who May Apply: US Citizens** - Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes developing programs to improve clinical management and implementing changes to improve the effectiveness/efficiency of health care services. - Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone-no substitution of education for experience is permitted.**Education**: This job does not have an education qualification requirement. **Additional information**: - Direct Deposit of Pay is required. - U.S. citizens overseas under ordinarily resident status are not eligible for appointment under the Status of Forces Agreement. - This is a Career Program (CP) 53 - Medical position. - Employees (and family members) who require medical or dental care in the overseas location will be responsible for obtaining and paying for such care. Access for civilian employees and their families to military medical and dental treatment facilities is on a space-available and reimbursable basis only. - Medical and dental care may be provided by host nation providers. The availability and level of care at host nation medical and dental facilities will vary by location. - Pay retention may be offered to selected applicants for positions at overseas locations. Pay retention will not be offered as an incentive for employees moving between overseas positions. - Selectees may receive certain foreign area benefits such as: Living Quarters Allowance (LQA) or government quarters, home leave, etc. Selectees will have their eligibility for foreign area benefits determined at the time of hire in accordance with Department of State Standardized Regulation (DSSR) and DoDI 1400.25 volume 1250. - The initial length of this overseas tour is 36 months. - Multiple positions may be filled from this announcement.
