The Relationship Associate Commercial Bank is a developing professional role. Deals with most problems independently and has some latitude to solve complex problems. The role spans across multiple divisions including Digital/Tech, MidCorp, and FinTech, reflecting the evolving structure and client base of the Commercial Bank. Integrates in-depth specialty area knowledge with a solid understanding of industry standards and practices. Good understanding of how the team and area integrate with others in accomplishing the objectives of the subfunction/ job family. Applies analytical thinking and knowledge of data analysis tools and methodologies. Requires attention to detail when making judgments and recommendations based on the analysis of factual information. Typically deals with variable issues with potentially broader business impact. Applies professional judgment when interpreting data and results. Breaks down information in a systematic and communicable manner. Developed communication and diplomacy skills are required in order to exchange potentially complex/sensitive information. Moderate but direct impact through close contact with the businesses' core activities. Quality and timeliness of service provided will affect the effectiveness of own team and other closely related teams.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Builds relationships with client network and operational teams, becoming a key contact for internal requests/problem escalation and resolution
- Ensures timely completion of Know Your Client (KYC) and other regulatory requirements, in partnership with product partners and Relationship Managers (RM)s
- Helps clients to access Citi’s global network, locating local coverage and product support across the globe
- Works with RMs and product partners to on-board new clients/new subsidiaries and KYC/initial credit set-ups completed
- Support RMs with new client acquisition / prospecting, create marketing materials, assist with client meetings, take meeting notes and track deliverables;
- Manage key client relationships for transaction level support for a pool of Relationship Managers;
- Support RMs, Underwriting and Risk teams with credit requests, annual reviews, internal risk rating determination, and financial spreading (new and credit extensions)
- Engages with product partners and Citi’s global network to identify revenue opportunities and to position certain products with clients
- Ensures periodic support discussions are held with clients and are correctly documented
- Maintains correct client legal and marketing hierarchies
- Partners with Credit Admin team to ensure credit documentation is kept current: FX, derivatives, Loans, LCs and other credit-related documents
- Partners with Credit Admin team to monitor usage of credit lines, and partnering with Independent Risk during client Annual Reviews
- Assists in implementation of cash transactions for Banker
