**What you'll do**
We are looking for a quality-conscious student in the field of communications, technical writing, languages, or informatics. We are offering a thesis student position as a temporary full-time job assignment of four to six months in an inspirational learning and working environment. During this time, you will work closely with mentors from SAP development teams and user assistance colleagues. For the ABAP RESTful Application Programming Model guide, we want to do user research to make sure our documentation strategy is going in the right direction and can fulfil all requirements of our target group.
Outline a foundation for user research and target group analyses for technical documentation aimed at developers
Plan, outline and implement an opinion poll within SAP to collect our users’ opinions
Outline methods and topics about how our documentation can be improved and which parts are missing
Analyse and outline future potential for optimizing our content strategy for our target group
**What you bring**
- Preferable student of technical writing or studies related to languages/programming/communications
- Interest in software engineering and programming
- Strong skills and fluency in English and German, ideally first-language proficiency in English
- The ability to express complex technical information in a clear and precise manner
- Strong interest in copy editing technical texts written by English non-native speakers
- The ability to learn new skills at short notice and deliver on time in high quality
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
