THE OPPORTUNITY Would you like to play a key role in strengthening NavVis' procurement and supply chain management? As a Technical Purchaser, you will participate in strategic decision-making and in turn play a crucial part in tackling exciting challenges and pushing NavVis’ supply chain management to the next level As part of our Design & Engineering Team, taking care of the procurement of mechanical components, you will collaborate with all major stakeholders across all stages of our supply chain processes. If you are someone with good technical understanding, who loves to work in a collaborative environment, and enjoys the idea of taking ownership, you could be the person we are looking for HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT - You will take over the crucial responsibility of managing the procurement of mechanical components for our mobile mapping system - You will independently conduct price negotiations with suppliers and have control of the process until the contract - You will expand our supplier portfolio and maintain existing supplier relationships - You will be the first point of contact for problem components in assembly - You will support project procurement in close coordination with our product development team - You will play an important role in engineering the right supply chain strategies to support our future growth - You will help with evaluating and developing our supplier base as well as take part in international supplier visits WHAT WILL HELP YOU SUCCEED IN THE ROLE - At least 2-4 years of experience in supply chain management and purchasing of mechanical engineering parts - Basic knowledge of typical mechanical manufacturing methods (milling, turning, injection moulding) - Basic knowledge of materials (metals, composites, plastics) - Fluent German, as the majority of our supplier base is German - Ability to read technical drawings is a plus HOW WE WILL KNOW IF WE ARE A PERFECT MATCH Your recruiting partner for this role is Stavroula (she/her).
