**Who we are looking for**:
As a System Administrator (f/m/d) you play a key role in keeping things going at an operational level and ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our IT infrastructure. You are passionate about creating stable systems and optimizing operations. A keen eye for detail and commitment to high quality guide your work. Besides, you proactively share your ideas and enjoy collaborating closely with the development team to stay perfectly aligned.

**Main tasks**
- Ensure the smooth and efficient operation of our technology infrastructure by minimizing downtime and maximizing system reliability
- Take ownership of infrastructure improvements to enhance operational efficiency
- Perform regular security checks, updates, and backups to safeguard systems and data
- Collaborate closely with the development teams to deploy new software
- Develop and document system processes and operational procedures to ensure consistency and transparency
- Respond promptly to system outages and incidents to minimize disruptions
- Maintain, upgrade, and manage our software and hardware
- Perform installations, configurations, and maintenance of operating systems, servers, and networks
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights

**Your skills**:
Must have
- 5+ years of proven experience as a System Administrator (f/m/d) or in a similar role
- A strong background in Linux environments
- Proficiency in scripting and automation (e.g., Python, Bash)
- Experience with virtualization technologies, e.g. KVM, VMware or Hyper-V
- Knowledge of networking, e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, VPNs
- Proactive mindset and focus on delivering high quality results
- Fluency in English required

Extra credit for
- Java skills
- CI/CD Tools (Gitlab, Gradle, Jenkins,)
- A degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Experience in a regulated environment
- Familiarity with container technologies (e.g. Docker, LxD, Kubernetes, Rancher,)
- Interests in DevOps
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Server+, RHCSA,)
- Experience with IaC tools (e.g. Ansible)
- Knowledge of Storage, Networking, Backups,
- Experience with Mac OS
