Director Procurement

In your new role you will:

- **Lead a team **of global and regional **category managers**:

- **Be accountable for one or more global procurement categories **; develop and implement category/supplier strategies, collaborating closely with key internal stakeholders (e.g. Divisions, OP) as well as other procurement job sub-families
- Build up and maintain **relationships to key decision makers **and **manage escalations **for business issues with suppliers
- **Drive sustainability projects **in the area of **green electricity sourcing **and direct materials
- **Define, monitor and act on related KPIs **(e.g. savings, payment terms, etc.); source competitively in global markets for best suppliers and solutions that fulfill Infineon‘s product and cost requirements, leading major, global negotiations and contracting

You are able to quickly establish a successful cooperation, clarify areas of responsibility, coordinate your work with colleagues, and regularly share your insights with them.

You act as an entrepreneur, focus on results and stay aware of costs and

commit yourself to the results of your own team and the company as a whole. Furthermore, you strive for continuous improvement and feel responsible for and contribute to the team’s success.

You are best equipped for this task if you:

- Gained a degree in **Business Management **with a technical focus **, **Industrial Engineering **, or a similar program
- Have at least **8 years of relevant professional experience in procurement or a related function**:

- Developed excellent **procurement knowledge and negotiation skills **in addition to general knowledge of **manufacturing processes **, **logistics **, **quality management **and ideally **electricity sourcing**:

- Are able to **quickly adopt to changing market environments **and react accordingly
- Are **passionate about leadership **and know how to **successfully motivate and instruct **your team members and to **guide them through change processes**:

- Have **excellent presentation skills **, are able to **clearly communicate, **and give guidance through your **well-structured manner**:

- Have fluent skills in **English and German**:

- **Are willing to **travel**
