Our team guides customers in topics, such as big data, machine learning, containers and hyper-scaling practices (just to name a few). We are looking for a Sr. Solution Architect with entrepreneurial mindset, passion for innovation, processes and people who drives high impact engagements with customers. This role provides you an opportunity to hone your advisory skills, to learn about the latest digital trends form the market leaders, to experience a highly autonomous environment and to grow with coaches and mentors. Key job responsibilities As a Sr. Solution Architect, you will drive adoption of cloud technologies. You will work closely with various AWS teams and the customer's engineering and product organization to design successful concepts, architectures and process models. Sometimes you go one step beyond and show the art of the possible using a demo implementation for selected topics. You will present your designs and solution concepts on the AWS blog and you can publish open source solutions. You will interact with customers at conferences so public speaking should be something you would like to try out. In this team, you can have a great influence on both: the strategy and best practices. A day in the life A Sr. Solution Architect (SA) always starts with the understanding of the customer problem or opportunity. They start designing a solution with the desired outcome in mind. They create an architectural diagram and/or a presentation about the various dimensions that can help the customer's product team to make decisions. In case the problem is frequently met, the SA will write a blog-post or record an internal enablement video. Sometimes the SA team will develop a reference implementation or a ready to use solutions, that bring together multiple AWS service capabilities. We work together with various functions of AWS as One Team. We believe in continuously supporting and mentoring our team members, and playing to each other’s strengths.
- Experience designing, building, refactoring or operating large scale and impactful IT systems - either on premises or in the cloud;
- Working knowledge of cloud native architectures;
- Knowledge of a modern programming language (Python, JavaScript, Go,.Net, Java, etc.) and/or scripting, Infrastructure as Code etc.
- Experience working in a customer-facing role or a role which involved public speaking;
