∙Contract Type: Part-time, 20 hours/week

**Roles and responsibilities**
∙Working on ways to automate network management of 5G/6G systems
∙Research and development of new innovative solutions for resource and network management of 5G and 6G networks
∙Practical implementation and validation of developed solutions by xApps and rApps for OpenRAN-based 5G systems
∙Close collaboration with research team at TU Ilmenau
**Qualifications**
∙Qualifying Master degree in a related engineering field
∙Minimum 2 years of professional experience in the field
∙Ability to understand and contribute to highly complex systems
∙Experience in network management, SON and 5G SBA
∙Background in 5G architecture and related network protocols
∙Background on mobile network system simulation
∙Knowledge of machine learning methods and AI tools
∙Experience with programming in C/C++ and/or Python
∙Fluent in English; knowledge of the German language is a plus
∙Motivation to work in an international team
**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 80 per week
