We are excited to announce the establishment of our Radiopharmaceutical Centre of Excellence in Germany. With over 20 years of experience, we provide comprehensive consulting services to clients in the radiopharma industry, from well-characterised PET and SPECT diagnostic radiopharmaceuticals to alpha and beta emitters for targeted cancer therapies.

**Role Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Conduct radioprotection assessments and develop safety protocols for the handling, storage, and disposal of radioactive materials in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to design and implement radiation shielding measures and contamination control strategies in radiopharmaceutical facilities.
- Perform radiation dose calculations and risk assessments to evaluate potential hazards and mitigate exposure risks to personnel and the environment.
- Provide training and guidance to staff on radiation safety procedures, emergency response protocols, and use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Conduct regular inspections and audits of radiopharmaceutical facilities to ensure compliance with radioprotection regulations and company policies.
- Coordinate with regulatory authorities and licensing agencies to obtain permits and approvals for the handling and transportation of radioactive materials.
- Stay informed about advancements in radioprotection technology and best practices, and recommend updates to safety procedures as needed.
- Support internal and external audits, investigations, and incident reporting related to radioprotection and radiation safety.

**Qualifications**:

- PhD or Master's degree in Nuclear Physics, Health Physics, Radiological Sciences, or a related field.
- Proven experience in radioprotection, radiation safety, or health physics, preferably in a pharmaceutical or radiopharmaceutical setting.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and standards governing the use of radioactive materials, such as IAEA, NRC, and EURATOM regulations.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to perform complex radiation dose calculations and risk assessments.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical information to diverse audiences.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities and a proactive approach to problem-solving in a fast-paced environment.
