For Hamburg Headquarters we are recruiting a**Data Science Expert (M/F/d)**

Your new job includes
- As a member of the Data Research Team in the Pricing & Analytics domain, you will contribute to the procurement, processing, and provision of quality-assured data. Your responsibilities include developing methods and conducting analytical procedures in the field of Data Science and Crawling.
- In particular, you will- capture, extract, process, and analyze price data from various sources
- establish a solid foundation for analysis through thorough data cleansing and Data Engineering
- identify patterns and trends, and prepare data-driven insights for decision-making
- continuously monitor, analyze, and derive actionable recommendations from competitive pricing data
- create detailed analyses and reports to identify recommendations and potentials of current price data
- support the further development and professionalization of pricing methods, and contribute to the development and implementation of pricing processes and tools, including databases, pricing setting and maintenance tools, as well as dashboards

What you should bring along
- Completed degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Data Science, Business Mathematics, or a related field
- Initial relevant practical experience through internships, working student positions, or similar roles in the field of Data Science and / or IT projects
- Strong knowledge in applied statistics (e.g., regression analysis, statistical models, and data analysis), experience with raw data, proficiency in SQL and database management systems, as well as dashboard solutions
- Ability to think customer-oriented, interpret price developments analytically, and communicate complex issues and analyses in an understandable manner
- Hands-on mentality, high sense of responsibility, structured work approach, and quick comprehension
- Fluent in both German and English, both written and spoken
