Strategic Purchaser

**Responsibilities**:

- You are responsible for the purchasing of product groups, projects and suppliers
- You independently carry out procurement activities, tenders, contract negotiations, conclusion of contracts and supplier development
- Your responsibilities include data analysis with the Spend Analytics Tool as well as the derivation, management and implementation of procurement activities (area of goods & services and also investment projects in cooperation with the departments)
- You will participate in the development and implementation of the purchasing strategy for the procurement volumes of the Corporate Entities
- Ensure the implementation of the purchasing strategies (e.g. change of suppliers, standardization, bundling)
- You collaborate also with the purchasing departments of the business groups
- You support the implementation of projects and their roll-out

**Qualifications**:

- You have a degree of study with a focus on purchasing or a comparable qualification
- You can demonstrate several years of professional experience in strategic and/or tactical purchasing in an industrial company
- You convince through successful negotiation management, especially in long-term customer and supplier relationships
- You have knowledge of usual industry contract forms and experience in drafting contracts
- In international projects, you have not only been involved in the project, but have also taken on leadership roles
- You are characterized by a high degree of independence and strong analytical skills
- Willingness to travel occasionally
- Fluent in German and English are a matter of course for you
