**DIGITAL MARKETING (PPC / Google Ads / Paid Search) FREELANCER**

We are looking for a German-English (bilingual) PPC (Pay Per Click) freelancer to create and monitor PPC campaigns. In this role, you should be well-versed in principles of search engine marketing, understands the importance of the psychology of language in PPC. Your goal will be to ensure our online marketing efforts can prove fruitful and have the highest possible return on ad investment (ROAS).

**Responsibilities**:

- Own the end-to-end process of creating, optimizing, reporting, and sharing insights from campaigns and tests
- Do keyword selection research and audience targeting in German market
- Create effective paid search strategies and campaigns
- Use metrics to drive campaign optimization by using internal and external platform tools, for example: Tableau, Facebook Ads Reporting, Google Analytics, and Google Ads
- Reporting on campaign performance, gathering insights, and making recommendations for further testing and campaign spend
- Strong knowledge of Google, Facebook and Instagram advertising platforms
- Identify technical setup issues or outages affecting existing campaigns
- Track KPIs to assess performance and pinpoint issues
- Write attractive and concise copy for adverts in German language
- Find ways to reduce risk of click fraud
- Keep abreast of PPC and SEM trends

**Qualifications**:

- Proven experience in PPC ad management
- Familiarity with multiple platforms (e.g., AdWords, Facebook, Yahoo) is preferred
- Experience with AB and/or MV test setup and reporting
- Excellent communication skills in German and English (verbal and written)
- Experience in data analysis and reporting
- Knowledge of SEO and digital marketing concepts
- Working knowledge of analytics tools (Google Analytics, Tableau, WebTrends etc.)
- Proficient in MS Office (particularly Excel)
- BSc/BA in Marketing, Digital Media or a related field; AdWords certification is a plus
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Professional work etiquettes
