In the fiscal year 2022/23, DOUGLAS generated sales of 4.1 billion euros and employed around 18,000 people across Europe. **SUBHEADLINE** For our headquarters in Düsseldorf we are looking for you as** **TASKS WITH IMPACT** As UX/UI Designer your are responsible for both the conception and design of sub-areas of the Douglas e-commerce platform and associated touchpoints: - Collaborate with internal stakeholders, like Product Owners and Developers, to address user requirements and preferences in order to enhance usability and "look & feel" in a user centric approach - Create initial rough mockups and designs, advancing to prototypes to evaluate functionality and feasibility adhering to our design system - Refine designs into interactive prototypes for user testing and validation of ideas - Document the concept thoroughly as preparation for the hand-over to development - Support the developers by providing crucial input and feedback during the design Quality Assurance - Actively contribute to the maintenance and further development of our design system by engaging in discussions on new ideas and customization requests with the team - Stay updated with the latest trends, best practices, and developments in UX design in order to identify new opportunities **YOUR SKILLS** - University degree in UX Design or vocational training media designer or similar - More than 3 years of professional experience on corporate or agency side - Experience with Figma and working with design systems - You already worked in agile teams - Fluent in German and English - With your creativity you generate novel ideas and solutions, often in innovative and unexpected ways - As an analytical thinker, you analyze complex data and problems to make informed business decisions - **Hands-on-mentality**: You prefer rolling up your sleeves and get involved in the work because of your proactive and practical mindset **OUR BENEFITS FOR YOU** ✔️ We enable you with trust and space to drive things forward independently With us, an open culture is what you can expect, providing plenty of room for new ideas Direct communication and fair collaboration are important for us We want you to feel comfortable at your job.
