We are looking for a skilled CFO for our software development company, castLabs, specializing in DRM, content security, and player technology for the media industry. The CFO will manage financial operations, joint ventures, and entities in Germany and the U.S., with expertise in SaaS/PaaS business models, strategic thinking, and collaboration. Knowledge of subscription management, billing automation, and software engineering is a plus.

**Responsibilities**:
Financial Operations, Accounting and Compliance
- Ensure accurate, efficient, and compliant financial operations.
- Lead and support a team of F&A experts.
- Generate comprehensive financial group statements, reports, and analyses for stakeholders, while ensuring adherence to tax regulations and other relevant financial laws and guidelines.

Joint Ventures and Entities Management
- Manage at least one joint venture and oversee the financial performance of entities in Germany and the U.S.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to align financial goals and monitor performance.

Cash Flow Management and Strategic Planning
- Oversee cash flow, liquidity monitoring, cash needs forecasting, and working capital optimization.
- Build relationships with banks and financial partners to optimize cash management solutions.
- Identify operational improvement opportunities to enhance financial performance.
- Work closely with executives to develop and execute strategic plans for company growth and profitability.

M&A and Funding
- Oversee M&A activities, including due diligence, financial modeling, negotiations, and integration. Collaborate with legal, finance, and executive teams to execute M&A transactions effectively.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or related field
- Prior experience as a CFO or senior financial leader
- Strong accounting (HGB & US-GAAP) and financial management skills
- Experience with joint ventures, entities, and cross-border operations (Germany and U.S.)
- Expertise in investment activities, financial modeling, and negotiations
- Strategic thinking, collaboration, and strong analytical skills
- Familiarity with M&A processes, funding mechanisms, and venture capital landscape
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
