Our Category Management Team at Zalando is passionate about fashion and lifestyle. We aim to help customers find the perfect products, from clothing and shoes to accessories. Our goal in Category Management is to curate an on-trend and profitable selection of products. We’re driven by discovering exciting new brands and products for the Zalando platform. Finding the right trends is just the beginning—our team also focuses on monitoring KPIs and streamlining processes. We work closely with other departments like logistics, content and photo production, the onsite team, and marketing to ensure alignment across the organization. Ultimately, we’re all working toward the same goal: creating an outstanding experience for our Zalando customers.

As a Working Student in Buying with Zalando’s Category Management, you’ll dive into supporting our team with brand portfolios—helping with planning, buying, and developing a great selection. You’ll assist in keeping track of performance KPIs and making sure our brand partners are aligned with Zalando’s strategy. Plus, you’ll get to contribute to marketing and trend discussions, adding your insights to our creative and commercial direction.

**WHAT WE'D LOVE YOU TO DO (AND LOVE DOING)**
- Support your team in operational and functional matters, by creating, maintaining & sending/cancelling orders and making sure all necessary administrative steps are followed through
- Ensuring that all necessary operational processes are completed at high quality, with a proficiency in using our Buying tools and software necessary for order raising.
- Work closely with our buying & planning team in order to ensure that our products are available for purchase (online/offline tracking).

- Enrolled student in the field of Business Administration, Economics, Fashion Management **(this is mandatory).**:

- You have passion and interest for world of e-commerce.
- Thriving in fast-paced environments, embracing collaboration and acting proactively.
- Organizing your workload efficiently, ensuring tasks are ready on time, are accurate and prioritized accordingly.
- Knowledge in MS Office, Google Tools and combining the passion for numbers with fashion.
