System Administrator (M/F/d) at our site in Paderbon (DE) **Your responsibilities**: - As a System Administrator you will install, setup and configure clusters of VMs, containers and services, mostly based on Linux. - You will ensure adequate monitoring is in-place and that failover scenarios are properly setup and regularly tested to maintain a high level of system availability. - Further, you will provide first level troubleshooting of operational issues which might occur from time to time and maintain streaming architecture including platform services and hardware. - Also, you will be responsible for the Maintenance of systems including patch management to ensure a high level of security across systems and networks in use by the company. - Network infrastructure management including firewalls, routers and switches and to ensure the documentation platforms are regularly capturing the changes happening across the extensive networks in use will be part of your tasks. - You will also collaborate with the DevOps team the introduction of automation tools such as Ansible to manage infrastructure used by the company while supporting the operational platforms. **Your qualifications**: - 2 years practical experience in managing on-premise and public cloud infrastructure services - Experience in building and managing critical and complex Linux environments and in securing online systems and networks - Experience including VMware and MS Azure products would be considered an asset - Experience in network configuration and troubleshooting, including firewall/routers, VPN setups and cloud-based networking.
