**CAM Programmer (f/m/d)**

**Your Role and Your Team**:
In this position you will report directly to the Machining center leader, and you will work on a variety of projects and tasks. As part of this role, you will be working in the Manufacturing Center, programming and operating state-of-the-art 5ax CNC-Machines (GROB, MAZAK). Using HyperMill, Siemens 840D and Mazatrol Smooth-X. Furthermore, you will assist the engineering teams by providing feedback for design improvements to the product.

**Your Day to Day**:

- Programming of components in HyperMill CAM and on the machine (Siemens 840D, Mazatrol SmoothX)
- Independent control of components with modern measuring equipment (dimensions and tolerances)
- Assistance in the continuous process optimization of workflows, optimize the life and use of cutting tools.
- Work cross functionally with related departments.
- e.g., work with Manufacturing Engineering to improve processes, equipment & tooling, and machining efficiency.
- e.g., improve manufacturing standards and process requirements.
- e.g., support digital improvements and innovations while working with manufacturing execution systems.
- Assist Manufacturing Lab team in development of tooling and new equipment commissioning and implementation.

**Your Profile**:

- Educational background as Cutting machine Operator, CNC Programmer, CNC Technician.
- Minimum of **5 years’ experience in CNC** job setup.
- Minimum of **2 years’ Experience with 3 axis or 5 axis Machining center** required.
- Experience in **Conversational Programming** (Siemens 840D and/or Mazatrol SmoothX)
- Experience with a **CAM system (ideally HyperMill)**.
- Must be able to work from complex and detailed documentation and/or verbal and written instructions depending on situation.
- Ability to read and understand manufacturing instructions setup sheets.
- Experience with operating and maintaining a wide variety of hand and power tools, shop tools, test equipment. Experience operating high volume production machinery preferred.
- High level of self-reliance with the ability to work both in a team and autonomously.
- Very good techniacal English language skills required; German language is a plus.
