As a** Game Writer **on Anno, you will work on the game’s systemic and narrative text and join an accomplished and talented team of writers and narrative designers. We move into an era of increasing care for the richness and integrity of the worlds we present - This role will play an important part in shaping that future.

**What you will do**:

- Write in-game-text and dialogue following form and content
- Support the conception of narrative concepts (e.g. quests)
- Create NPC characters as well as the subsequent text and audio messages
- Create additional game text such as tooltips, in-game descriptions and menus, marketing proposals, and other technical writing.
- Work with internal tools to manage text creation, localization, and version control
- Support for voice recordings
- Close collaborations with all other departments

**Qualifications**:
**What you bring**:

- Excellent written and verbal skills in English. German is a plus.
- Initial experience as a game writer, editor, screenwriter, or creative writer
- High level of general education and a preference for historical topics
- Strong ability to work in a structured environment with digital text management tools is beneficial
- Familiarity with game production pipelines and common scheduling, task, and issue tracking tools (such as Perforce, Jira, etc.)
- Team-player with a positive attitude and a superior motivation to create high quality content
