Summary We are looking for a “Head of Operations Management (f/m/d)” for the “Operations Management” department at the Oberkochen site at the earliest possible date. The “Operations Management” department bundles elementary cross-sectional tasks and core capabilities of the Operations division of HENSOLDT Optronics GmbH. The organizational structure includes essential sub-areas that ensure precise production logistics, transparent planning and calculations, as well as efficient processes and excellent performance across the entire supply chain, especially in the production areas. Your Tasks- Head of the Operations Management department with the main areas of responsibility Logistics & Incoming Goods Inspection, Planning & Costing, Production Excellence and Production Management Wetzlar- Complete technical and disciplinary management of the organizational unit with approx. 40 employees* at the Oberkochen and Wetzlar sites, with all associated leadership and management tasks, under the permanent requirement of high effectiveness and efficiency of the unit- Providing the various operational services to the operational areas of the Optronics sites in Oberkochen and Wetzlar (e.g. measurement and safety equipment management, clean room and ESD safety, central plant coordination)- Ensuring smooth and efficient inbound & outbound logistics processes at the Oberkochen and Wetzlar sites, in close cooperation with the logistics partners and service providers, as well as our production and program areas- Precise and transparent planning of our production orders at various planning levels - from primary requirements and order planning to detailed planning - with a view to the entire supply chain- Creation, analysis and coordination of workload and resource planning, including regular reconciliation with the service areas- Ensuring comprehensive and integrated cooperation within the supply chain in all areas of responsibility and planning activities, in particular with the program areas, purchasing and production- Sustainably and continuously improving the efficiency and performance of the production areas by consistently developing the lean methods and standards that have been introduced and implementing new, innovative procedures- Responsible management and coordination of overarching initiatives and projects in the company for the Operations division - cooperation with internal and external departments- Continuous further development of the area of responsibility with a view to cross-sectional tasks and services, as well as the performance of the production areas and Operations as a whole Your Profile - Bachelor's or Master's degree in logistics management or a related field - Experience in logistics processes and systems - Experience in working with other functions and professionals - Knowledge of conducting cost-benefit analyses - Understanding of safety and environmental standards - Ability to solve complex problems and make decisions - Excellent communication and teamwork skills - Experience in project management and coordination of logistics projects - Fluency in German and English Happy to hear- Work on extraordinary high-tech products at the limits of physics- Fair, performance-related remuneration, plus special payments- Flexible working time and workplace models- Company pension scheme- Individual development and training opportunities- Family-friendly working conditions and meal & snack options- Health promotion and mobility offers Discover more about our benefits " HERE ".
