For our purchasing team at our bavarian location Marktoberdorf we are looking for a **Regional Commodity Buyer (M/F/d)**
In Purchasing, we pride ourselves on our pivotal role between all divisions of the company. Our cross-departmental and cross-functional cooperation extends to numerous plants and includes the globally-operating AGCO Corporation. We coordinate future technologies with international suppliers in line with our Forward Sourcing Strategy and shape sustainable relationships along the supply chains. This role has the responsibility of tactical and operational purchasing processes including assurance of transactional requirements. The Buyer, Regional Commodity serves as contact window for suppliers based in region and is also responsible for daily operational tasks like supply issues, RFQ execution, etc.
**What You Will Do**
- Support purchasing budget definition
- Ensure regional and/or local compliance
- Negotiate with regional suppliers in agreement with RCM
- Manage RFQs, Bid Analysis and supplier recommendations in agreement with RCM
- Execute supplier visits / audits with Supplier Quality Engineers
- Conduct cost analysis activities with Cost Analysis Team; Support commodity reporting and performance measurement
- Ensure a comprehensive TCO that includes reliability, maintenance, operating, energy, transportation, and insurance costs across region
**What You Will Bring**
- Bachelor's degree in a Business or related disciplines (ie. Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Management, Commodities Management)
- Minimum experience of 2-3 years business experience in a role relevant to the position.
- Leverage supplier process knowledge for contract negotiations and continuous improvement opportunities
- Knowledge of risk factors (currency, shipping costs, single source dependency, supplier ownership) and incorporation of counter activities
- Ability to communicate written and verbally in English + foreign language(s) internally and externally
**A Plus If You Have**
- Knowledge about hydrualic cylinders
- Strong analytical skills with ability to execute operationally
- Experience utilizing Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, Power Point, Outlook)
