Overview:
GovCIO is currently hiring for Platform System Administrator to support enablement of US AFRICOM’s mission objectives. This position is in support of a Department of Defense (DoD) organization, US AFRICOM located OCONUS in Stuttgart, Germany.

**Responsibilities**:
Responsibilities:
Install, configure, and maintain Windows servers and related components.
Conduct regular system audits and vulnerability assessments.
Provide technical support and guidance to end-users and other IT staff.
Implement and enforce security protocols to protect data and systems.
Optimize system performance and resource utilization through regular maintenance.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's with 8+ years (or commensurate experience)
Clearance Required: Secret

Required Skills and Experience
- Must be US Citizen
- TESA Approval Required: Bachelors and 3 years' experience, or Associates Degree and 7 years of experience or HS Diploma and 11 years of experience in the field of endeavor. No Waiver.
- Strong experience with Windows server administration and related technologies.
- Computing environment certification (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Windows Server, Azure101, etc).
- Security+ or other IAT Level 2 certification and higher.

Preferred Skills and Experience
- Experience with scripting in PowerShell.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms like Azure or AWS.

Posted Pay Range

The posted pay range, if referenced, reflects the range expected for this position at the commencement of employment, however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, education, experience, and internal equity. The total compensation package for this position may also include other compensation elements, to be discussed during the hiring process. If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the GovCIO reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, GovCIO or individual department/team performance, and market factors.

Posted Salary Range: USD $100,000.00 - USD $123,534.26 /Yr.
