**Duties**:

- Assist in the planning/establishing of objectives and goals for the facility.
- Instruct customers in the proper use of equipment and programs within area of responsibility.
- Sets up recreational areas for sporting events, serving as an official as required.
- Helps plan, conduct, publicize, and arrange support for a variety of sponsored special events, social activities, tournaments and related functions.

- A one-year probationary period may be required.
- Possesses satisfactory completion of pre-employment background checks in accordance with AR 215-3, 2-13, to include a Tier 1 background investigation with childcare checks.
- This position may require a health screening due to the lifting requirement of 40 Lbs. Immunizations may be required as a condition of employment for the health and safety of those in the facility.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a valid US Army (USAREUR) Europe Certificate of license.

**PCS Costs**
- Payment Permanent Change of Station (PCS) costs are not authorized, based on a determination that a PCS move is not in the Government's interest.

**Pay-Band Allowances and Differentials**
- Sunday premium pay may be authorized by the Garrison Commander. **_If authorized, only regular (full-time, part-time, limited tenure and seasonal) employees may be paid Sunday premium pay._** Sunday premium may be paid at the rate of 25% of the basic rate for all hours of non-overtime, when any part of the scheduled tour of duty is performed on Sunday (to a maximum of 8 hours per Sunday). - Night differential may be authorized by the Garrison Commander. Night differential may be paid at the rate of 10% basic rate for hours of non-overtime work performed between 1800-0600.

**Foreign Overseas Allowances**
- Allowances, differentials, or incentives will not be paid.
- Post allowance may be paid in accordance with the Department of States Standardized Regulations (DSSR), contingent upon eligibility.
