**What you will enjoy doing**
- As a member of the German Business Controlling team you will support your colleagues in providing financial information to the management of the Packaged Gases Business unit.
- You will be responsible for dedicated tasks in reporting, forecasting, planning and product cost calculation
- The tasks you will take-over will help you getting to know our industrial gases business and require the collaboration with various business stakeholders
- Additionally, you will take responsibility for dedicated work packages within business controlling projects that aim to improve financial processes, monthly closing activities or master data quality
- Your responsibilities in the Finance Systems & Process department for Europe West include assisting with data analysis, providing support for financial system implementations and taking over Project management tasks for selected projects.
- The tasks will give you a good understanding of the general setup of a Finance organization as well as of the structure of comprehensive financial projects

**What makes you great**
- As a third year Bachelor student or Master student in business administration, finance, accounting or similar, you're the perfect fit
- With prior experience in at least one internship or working student job during your studies, you're ready to take this next step
- Fluency in English language (written and spoken) is mandatory, and knowledge in German language is of advantage
- Analytical thinking, data & systems, and a clearly structured storytelling approach are all qualities that you possess and enjoy applying
- You thrive on being part of a dynamic team, collaborating with finance stakeholders and across other business functions
- Excel experience is a must, and you're motivated to build your skills in Power Query/Pivot/VBA/SAP
- You're interested in learning about the industrial gases business and aspire to a future career within finance & controlling

You will support two teams within our Finance & Controlling organisation: Business Controlling Packaged Gases Germany actively supports the management team in steering the packaged gases business. We are responsible for financial planning, forecasting and reporting for the operations and sales organization and play a key role in achieving financial targets. Furthermore, we work on the continuous improvement of all financial processes and are an integral part of business projects. The Finance Systems & Processes department within Europe West is responsible for managing and improving financial systems and processes that are used across the region. Further, we drive finance-related projects from inception to completion, supporting our financial operations and the strategic direction of the organization.

Gain in-depth knowledge of our Finance & Controlling department by dedicating at least three months of your time, with the option of a consecutive working student employment.
